Brehm-Gedenkstätte Renthendorf

The work of two famous animal researchers is presented at the Brehm Memorial Centre in Renthendorf. The permanent exhibition is dedicated to Christian Ludwig and Alfred Brehm, who were active in the 19th century. The ambivalent relationship between humans and animals was one of the issues addressed. An extensive collection of birds can be admired there, as can the Brehms' workrooms, which are furnished true to the original.
