Bernsteinstadt Ribnitz-Damgarten

The gem from the Baltic Sea is an important export in the amber town of Ribnitz-Damgarten. This is not only illustrated by the German Amber Museum with its 1,600 exhibits. The famous Fischland jewellery also comes from Ribnitz-Damgarten. The town's architectural treasures include churches dating back to the 13th century. The remains of the town wall and the Ribnitz monastery, which can be seen from afar.
