Barockschloss Ludwigslust
The Grand Dukes of Mecklenburg-Schwerin once resided in the baroque Ludwigslust Palace. The richly decorated banqueting halls and a picture gallery are now open to visitors. But the castle building is only one part of the ensemble. It is surrounded by a park with water features, a mausoleum and the church of St Helena and St Andrew, which is located on an artificial island.
