Bad Suderode – Calciumsole-Heilbad
Due to the particularly mild climate on the edge of the Harz region, Suderode was awarded the title of "Bad" in 1914. The local Behringer spring is one of the strongest calcium brine springs in Europe. With more than 2,500 mg of calcium per litre, it is ideally suited for the treatment of osteoporosis. The town receives its first spa guest as early as 1827. Due to renovation work at the spa centre, bathing operations are suspended indefinitely.
