Bachstadt Arnstadt
As the place where Johann Sebastian Bach and his relatives worked, Arnstadt is known far beyond the borders of Thuringia as the city of Bach. This is particularly evident in the Bach Church with its historic organ and the castle museum, which reveals more about the life of the musical family. The tower of the Neideck castle ruins offers a panoramic view of the historic town.
