Aschersleben – Historische Stadtbefestigungsanlage

Aschersleben, the oldest town in Saxony-Anhalt, welcomes visitors with its historic town centre and largely preserved town fortifications. The latter still consists of 15 of the former 51 towers, most of which date from the 15th century. Some of them can be visited as part of a city tour. On the route along the city fortifications, visitors learn more about the historical background.
