Altstadt Mühlhausen

Half-timbered houses, winding alleyways and cosy cafés invite you to linger in the old town of Mühlhausen. Visible from afar is the Gothic St Mary's Church, Thuringia's second largest church. The famous reformer Thomas Müntzer once held his sermons here. The Mülhausen town wall has been almost perfectly preserved. In addition the town hall has an artistically designed Renaissance portal.
