agra-Park Markleeberg

Originating from the Herfurtschen Park, the agra-Park in Markkleeberg is now an extensive recreational and cultural centre. The Leipzig consul Paul Herfurth had the complex built at the end of the 19th century as a summer country residence. Baroque sculptural replicas, Greek temples and botanical specialities can be found among numerous cultural institutions such as museums and galleries.
